Disclaimer: The following main post and first few comments under it are all the same post. Had to split it into multiple parts because of the forum bug.

Overpowered Damage Dealing Mount Magnitudes:

Lets start with the obvious, 3,000 magnitude single target mount powers and 1,000 magnitude AOE mount powers are now a thing.

The single target mount power tunnel vision in particular is a serious problem in PVP that will for sure result in a significantly reduced que rate for PVP or even a completely dead que for a while. It has a very subtle animation that is hard to see and it deals its damage nearly instantly. This means you just point at something and it instantly dies, no counter play options and it won't matter how tanky they are.

Legendary giant toad poses similar issues since it is also 3,000 mag, though it is slow enough to aviod, any long CC power will prevent you from escaping. Most notably, clingy leather coat. This chest piece has a 5 second stun and a cooldown of only 10 seconds.

The damage dealt by 3,000 mag powers is around 30% more than rogue's daily shocking execution deals. SE without pots or pets but with CA and crit is 800k for me. 3,000 mag mounts are 1.2milion for me on crit with CA without pots or pets.

AOE mount powers for rogue and probably warlock can be cast with CA to do 300k or 400k damage to multiple targets. This can be combined with other smaller powers and random extra attacks from teammates to wipe an entire node of 5 enemies.

The basic self healing mount power, rejuvenating favor, is healing for a massive amount:

Rejuvenating favor frequently heals me for 86k per tick when maxed out, but the tooltip says it only has a magnitude of 20. Obviously this poses concerns in PVP and is probably not intended if I had to guess.

so it seems 80%+ of pvp player agree to nerf toad/tunel damage, so devs should really consider those magnitude

Has the bug with Rogues using the clingy Vest chest piece been fixed ??

This toad combat power and the bug with Clingy Vest is spoiling just completely spoiling PVP atm and i dont think i will play any pvp until these bugs are fixed , 2 of my friends have quit the game because they say this will just continue and pvp doesnt get the attention it needs - Players work hard to gear up for pvp and then bugs like this makes any previous efforts and all the hours farming absolute and useless

and with new mount changes the current maximum Hit Points availble to a player is not enough even at BIS it feels we should have double the hit points in order not be oneshotted or one rotation killing 95% of players

it should be a battle instead of blink and "ooh im dead again how the hamster did that happen ?? "

No fun when you dont even have a chance to defend ...

i wish the devs will work with guys like you trgluestickz and others that have a good understanding of issues and classes and so some pvp testing so tht we resolve these things quickly

Its very sad to see so much effort go to waste .. real sad

As I explained in a different thread, there isn't a bug with clingy coat, it just was designed with a shorter cooldown than is appropriate for PVP and wasn't given the usual duration reduction CCs normally get in PVP.

ok but then tht cooldown has to be fixed ?

It is still Over Powered in many ways ..

what is your opinion on current HP stacking in pvp ..doesnt seem like there are any builds tht would cater for 700K+ rotations and shocking execution dailies hitting same for one power etc as average builds run between 400k - 500k HP

    just silly ...

The devs said they are going to reevaluate the duration on the clingy leather coat and garbs of the cubi since its routine for CC effects to be reduced on items in PVP. So they are looking at the items but haven't confirmed that they are going to nerf it yet, they probably will though.

Also, right now 600k HP combined with 40k+ deflect or 55k crit avoidance is good on dps cleric and dps warlock. I'm not sure its good on other classes though but this should up your survival rate.

Last time I tested 450k HP + 33k deflect VS 600k HP + various amounts of deflect on rogue, the 600k wasn't good but the mount update may have changed how good this is.

"Clingy coat and Cubi are getting a PvP treatment of disabling the CC entirely in PvP. It's a fix in the pipeline."

just got that message back from Ridi today.

Thanks Mari'Gold :) .. All we want is tht the Overpowering/BUGs and whatever causes it need to be re-evaluated like asap when identified and fixed accordingly ..if everyone of a specific class is using same armour piece mount combat power or whatever equipment other than obvious like for example weapons set and its one shotting players then obviously theres a big problem ... IMO class balancing should be done in PVP first cause its where it matters most (no offense to any PVE player) but this is not a score vs software this is a battle and as alotta players have grinded years to get a toon in a state tht its competitive in pvp it should be the first focus for all balancing .. like for example my builds are always pvp orientated and then allow for a loadout with like for example ring swap on top of tht .. cause rest is on companions etc well if you understand it its pretty easy you would know ;) and if you pvp competitively your toon should be geared way past what is required to do PVE ... so its not an issue ...I wish the devs would also see it this way ..theres so much potential in this game for pvp events tht can bring in extra income ..maybe oneday a dream will be reality ... keep up the good work bro ;)

I strongly agree with this statement. Too many games, however, fail to implement the next step... to create upgrades or boosts to some of those powers when used in PvE... through upgrades or power-ups earned as rewards for PvE content play.

If you set balance for PvP, which you should, it leaves some skills lackluster or pointless in PvE. Skills that slow enemies, boost your armor penetration, and many that add conditions (which bosses are invulnerable to), need a boosted form before they are gonna be useful in PvE. That's how I'd do it anyway. Some games have PvP versions that are different. I'd make PvP version the normal. Any good PvE game is long enough to include achievements to earn a "Boosted" form of each skill for use in PvE only.
